6 months agoWe came here on a Saturday evening and the karaoke was deafening. With that being said the food was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. I felt really bad for our waitress she could barely hear us over the loud singing. I hate to be a party pooper however it was just overly loud and also potentially not the vibe for this establishment. Either way I liked my food and would come back on a non karaoke night I got the quiessadilla which was excellent the bao pork bun thing was very mid and I wouldn’t recommend that. The fish tacos were great and the staff was awesome. Also they have some new menu items so I uploaded the updated menu also the dessert was called chocolate avalanche and as you can see in my photo there wasn’t much chocolate. This place has some serious potential.

8 months agoWe went for a late lunch and i'm glad we did. The food was really good with a wide variety of choices. My grandson ordered the korean chicken wings, half order, and added on an order of fries which only costs two dollars and it was a very large amount of fries. The wings were crispy on the outside and the korean sauce was a bit spicy and sweet. I swear these are the best fries I have ever had. I ordered the lettuce wraps with chicken. They come with slaw and wontons and a yummy peanut sauce and they are sooo good. Plus it's a very large order, plenty to take home or to share with someone else. The bloody mary was good and strong, and I asked them to add celery and bacon and they were happy to do so. I can't wait to go back and try their chicken marsala and their happy hour menu!

Edited 8 months agoReally loved the food and service, but the important thing (to me) is their selection of wines is reasonably priced! I like having wine with my meals, but so many restaurants have gotten out of hand on that aspect. The service and attention was perfect here, and the slightly exotic vibe of the menu option was a pleasant surprise! The dessert, "Dubai strawberry dream" definitely had a middle eastern hint, it was SO GOOD and not overly sweet - it was more rich and subtle than I imagined! I will definitely be going back!

11 months agoThe food was so amazing! The burger we ordered was a solid choice for a satisfying meal. The patty was juicy and well Seasoned. Lettuce wrap was very refreshing, definitely my favourite. It was a lighter option that didn't leave me feeling weighed down, perfect for a warm day or when you want something healthier. The coffee and drinks are also so good!

a year agoI'm in from it of town, just stumbled in on this place, and I'm so glad I did. The staff was extremely friendly and made sure I wasn't without. The whole place was clean and in order. My meal was fresh and very tasty. While I waited, though, I could have literally eaten any other plate that passed by. It all looked so good. Good food, good people.

a year agoHeadquarters Bar & Eatery is soon to be a food gem of Bakersfield! The spicy beef garlic noodles are packed with flavor and heat with juicy size-able pieces of ribeye, and the garlic parmesan wings are crispy, cheesy, and delicious. Would also recommend the flatbreads! Tons of TVs make it a great game-day vibe, and the atmosphere is clean but still has that lively sports bar feel. Great food, and a good time—highly recommend!

a year agoSo we were here the first night, and I decided to reserve judgment. The second visit and improvement is needed. The menu is confusing at best. I guess pigs can fly given pork wings are listed, actually pretty good. "Hummus", made with black beans, according to the menu, was actually caned refried pinto beans, was not good at all. The soft pretzels were ok, the cheese sauce was awesome. At the bottom of the list fell the chicken parm, which is at the Denny's level. Food quality falls well short of what I expect for the price. The quality of the rail drinks leaves lots to be desired. Staff is pleasant and trying but needs lots more training. Bright but a bit sterile, good TV viewing. I hope this place improves as there is potential.

a year agoThis place is very nice and clean. Service is alright but can be better and the kitchen needs to be faster. Waited almost 1 hour for our food and once the food was out 2 of our guests waited an additional 10 mins for the food. Overall it’s a good spot but needs more training for sure. Definitely will come back though .
